“The era of minced words is long overdue for apoptosis; those souls feebly equivocating (in order to cater to that which they believe will appease those around them) will only contribute to further deterioration of integrity in music. Their milquetoast personalities and abject lack of conviction will always result in paltry artistic statements, particularly because a false narrative is occurring already before any accommodation even begins. Ones impression of what others want (unless it is explicitly stated in clear terms) is more often than not a disoriented and confused rendering of a many-times-distilled shadow of an idea, one that has long evaporated any traces of the spirit that could have conjured it. In an environment rife with an excess of false idol worship, with ill-conceived conventions rotting traditions from the inside and out, with thoroughly sterilized impressions of older frameworks infesting artistic spaces like termites, the only option for those seeking truth and strength is to dig ones feet into the dirt and bleed deep into the hills, to stand resolutely in the wake of a tsunami of ignorance.”
